Liquid Iron

Liquid Iron is designed to promote healthy dark green plants without excess growth. Our Iron gives grasses the ability to stand up to heavy traffic and maintain their vigor and color. Iron develops a more complete root system to help maintain full health of the plant and gives exceptional winter hardiness.

Iron is an important micronutrient for plants as it plays a crucial role in many physiological processes. Examples include photosynthesis, respiration, and nitrogen fixation. Fertigation applies the liquid iron directly to the root zone through irrigation. It is then transported to the rest of the plant.

Fertigation with liquid iron can help prevent iron deficiency in plants. Chlorosis or yellowing leaves indicate the plants’ inability to produce enough chlorophyll.

By supplying plants with a readily available source of iron, liquid iron fertigation can effectively alleviate these symptoms. Thus, improving the overall plant health and productivity.

Greensmiths Liquid Iron

Greensmiths, Inc. has developed a blend of the most essential micronutrients designed for foliar or soil applications. The liquid formula allows for ease of mixing and application. Turf, shrubs and ornamentals respond to our Iron because of the unique orgainc complexing agents which minimize the soil pH, Phosphate, and enzyme interference.

It is important to note that the application rate and timing of liquid iron in fertigation should be based on the specific needs of the plants and the soil conditions. Excessive application of iron can lead to imbalances in nutrient uptake and adverse effects on plant growth. Therefore, it is recommended to consult with agricultural experts or soil testing laboratories to determine the appropriate dosage and schedule for liquid iron fertigation.

Our Iron is available in truck loads, 275 gallons, or 5 gallons. Our 275 gallon container is reusable to saves you on unnecessary packaging cost. It also saves all of us on container waste disposal in our landfills.

*When applied as directed, our Iron is non-phytotoxic.
